IRA BIOLOGICS REGISTRY (IRABR)
Welcome to the website of the Indian Rheumatology Association Biologics Registry (IRABR). As the name implies, this is essentially intended to be a Registry, documenting the use of Biologic agents available in India, for rheumatological disorders. This data would be provided by Rheumatologists actively using these agents, by registering with the IRABR and entering the data on-line with their personal user name and password. The Registry website would also aim to provide current, basic information on these agents, for non-rheumatologists and prospective patients. In addition, an important function of the Registry would be to document any toxicity or side effects that may be observed with their use. It should be emphasised that the IRABR is not intended to provide therapeutic answers for patients with active rheumatological problems (diagnosed or undiagnosed). However, patients who have been advised treatment with a biologic agent may seek further information from their treating rheumatologist and may find some additional basic information at this Site. This activity is entirely funded and conducted by the Indian Rheumatology Association (IRA).
S J GUPTA, Chairman, IRABR. (For and on behalf of the Indian Rheumatology Association)
